December 1st 2018, our Elf on the Shelf, "Thumb" arrived and brought some treats. The kids very so excited and love the magic of it all. This year Thumb arrived while we were out shopping and left another poem for Allissa and Freddie x

Fizz & Fashion Fundraising Event

Last week I took part in another fundraising event for Charlie house. This one was perhaps a step too far out of my comfort zone but I did it and I'm proud that there were only a few secret tears. Any discomfort felt was well worth it though because the event raised over £7100 in total!

This is how I prepare Boris's meals for the week ahead every Sunday. I love him having home cooking when he is so far away from us. The meals change but the idea is the same every week.

A day in the life

Busy day, nothing unusual!

Hospital appointment. Lots of errands some of which don't go to plan. Lost glasses, a big scream, Pixi the nursery teddy bear, a lot of housework, washing and a glimpse into Allissa's bedtime routine.

Our Morning Routine

Just a regular winters morning getting Miss A ready for school, the dude ready for nursery, feeding the animals and heading off to the shops after some house work and admin.

What we do every day after school, Allissa comes home and i pop her in her standing frame for snack time. This was filmed on a day when it was just the 2 of us at home to make the video a little more chilled.

What we have bought for our 8 year old's Birthday!

What we have bought for Allissa's 8th birthday. She can be a difficult girl to buy for but I think we have nailed it this year and can't wait to watch her open them!

Allissa's story part 1

A really difficult one for me to fillm, I struggled with the content and my attempt at editing in short I made an arse of it. Never mind this is the most light hearted part of the story so despite my anxiety I'm just going to put it up!

Its been hard to go back to these memories and the more I talk the more I remember.
